Inventory
Management Module
|
|
Properly
maintaining regulated materials in inventory requires a
system that helps comply with complex and changing
regulations. EMS’s Inventory Management Module addresses all
the special issues associated with storing and using
hazardous materials.
The Inventory database maintains product information at a
level of detail designed specifically to support compliance
and regulatory reporting. Data fields include Product Name,
Part Number, Manufacturer and Vendor, as well as Specific
Location, Responsible Person, Physical State, Unit of
Measure, Container Type, Days on Site, Pressure, Temperature
and other fields unique to regulated chemicals. All
inventory records cross-reference to their corresponding
MSDS records, and then drill down to regulations, hazard
information, storage instructions and labeling requirements.
Regulatory Reporting tools generate standard federal, state,
local and international reports such as SARA Report, Annual
and Biennial reports.
Inventory information can be input as needed or
automatically drawn from links to an organization’s
Procurement or ERP System, or through direct links to
primary vendors. This keeps inventory information up-to-date
and accurate.
There is a simple search screen to access data. Licensed
users have access to a searching function, or a Viewer can
be added for unlimited access by all employees. Learn more
about this in the Viewer section.
The Inventory Management module is available as an
individual module or as part of the complete EMS package.
