Task Management
The Task Management system allows you to create and
manage each step of a project. It can track the scope of the
project, cost, personnel, business department and due dates
for enterprise or departmental projects and for the tasks
necessary to complete the project.
Task Manger links with Reporting tool, as well as external
programs such as Word Processing and Email. It can generate
and automatically send email messages with documents or
reports attached, keeping even those employees who do not
use EMS up to date with environmental projects.
The Task Management system also assists you in monitoring
your environmental database for conditions that could
indicate a possible problem. For example, the system could
be set up to alert you when waste containers have been in a
90-day storage area for 75 days, and give you a list of the
containers.
If you wish to set it up, the Task Management System can
monitor your tasks and post the 'Projects Overdue' alert
message as you enter EMS when a project is overdue or beyond
the flag date.
The Action Menu Options allow you to display a detailed list
or a calendar page with your tasks and projects.
