Waste
Management Module
|
|
The EMS Waste
Management Module is an integrated "cradle-to-grave" waste
tracking, documentation and compliance reporting tool. It
tracks waste from the point of generation to manifesting and
disposal.
Manifests can be generated using templates and reference
tables, and will print on the Uniform (National) Manifest
Form. Both open and closed manifests are tracked. Electronic
interface with waste management companies can further
simplify management and the exchange of critical information
with service providers. (Click
here to learn more about our ENSCO Partnership.)
Handling, storage, and disposal permits are tracked and
users can be notified of actual or impending permit or
regulation violations.
The Profile and Stream database stores detailed information
on facility-specific waste, and supports the entry of
regulatory, safety, and shipping information. Profiles are
associated with manifests and containers, and include
chemical composition and properties, shipping name, hazard
labeling, disposal method, tax category, and expiration
date.
To gather waste item information, this module interfaces
with the Inventory Module through a Waste Requisition
function, transferring information on an inventory item
directly to the Waste Management database when a user
requests a waste transfer/pickup. It can move waste items to
drums, accumulation areas, and manifests.
The Waste Management module generates all reports required
for local, state, federal and international compliance,
including Biennial and tax reports, Land Ban (LDR) forms and
SARA reports, and can transfer them electronically to
regulating agencies. It generates and prints waste storage
and DOT shipping labels. User-defined reports can be created
for management decision-making support.
The Waste Management module is available as an individual
module or as part of the complete EMS package.
