Project
Design and Implementation
|
Developing both large- and limited-scale programs for a wide
variety of clients has given us the experience and
perspective to analyze your needs based on business process,
company goals, user requirements, regulatory demands and
systems environment. Working with end-users, IT department
and organizational management, we are able to draw on past
programs we have designed in conjunction with other clients
in the industry or with similar needs to yours, as well as
new technology entering the scene, to create a program that
meets your needs, within your parameters or environment,
efficiently and cost-effectively.
We are able to scale and stage implementation of projects to
fit within your time and budget guidelines. We can limit
implementation to that which offers the most functionality
up front, working with you and your current processes or
systems to phase implementation. On the other hand, if you
are ready for a global roll-out of a fully functional
corporate solution for chemical management, environmental
reporting, and integration of EMS with purchasing and ERP
systems, vendors and other systems, Chemical Safety, in
conjunction with experienced and worldwide technology
integration partners, can both plan and manage the project
to your best advantage.
The Proof is in the Project
We have created a comprehensive ˇ°in-house pharmacyˇ±
program for use at a leading pharmaceutical research
corporation. This program integrates research operations
with purchasing, EH&S and hazardous waste disposal. See
Integrating EH&S into the Business
Process
In another program, this with strategic alliance partner,
Chemdex, we are integrating our systems' MSDS and inventory
management functionality to support Chemdex - online
procurement portals. Internet-based delivery of information
services has been one of the main focuses of our corporate
direction in the last nine months.
A strategic partnership with
ENSCO,
a leading Hazardous Waste Services company, has, over the
past five years, helped us create the most powerful Waste
Management program available anywhere. This program allows
comprehensive tracking, reporting and documentation, as well
as electronic links with vendors and other systems and a
seamless flow of information from the materials inventory
management module.
Chemical Safety has also worked with a large technology
manufacturer headquartered in Oregon to integrate EH&S
requirements into the chemical ordering and tracking
program. In conjunction with this organization's preferred
chemical supplier, a leader in the chemical distribution
industry, we placed the chemical catalog on the
manufacturer's network, simplifying chemical procurement and
capturing critical data for EH&S and compliance reporting.
