Introduction |
We are currently in the Chemical Reference database module. This
database has specific chemical information on each MSDS record. Take a look at the diagram
below. It shows the link that exists between the Chemical Reference and MSDS databases.
When we create inventory records we will also create a link to the MSDS database and the
Chemical Reference database. |
Viewing the
Linked Chemical Reference |

 | Open the MSDS database. |
 | Find the Chevron Avgas 100 MSDS. |
 | Select MSDS from the menu bar, and click of Prod. Ref/Chem. Ref. You will see the
Chemical Reference that is linked to the Chevron Avgas 100 MSDS you just found.
| TRY THIS: Select Window from the menu bar and
click on MSDS to return to the already open MSDS database. Find another MSDS, select
Window from the menu bar, and click on chemical reference to see the linked chemical
reference. |
Hazard Labels |

 | Find the Chevron Avgas 100 Chemical Reference. |
 | From the menu bar select File, Action, Display Labels. |
 | You will see a screen with the required labels. |
 | Click the OK to cancel out of that screen or click Print |
NOTE: Hazard labels can be viewed in the MSDS,
inventory and Chemical Reference databases.
You finished the Chemical Reference module. |
Return to the
index page and select another database module you would like
to learn more about. It is recommended that you continue with the
