Q: Can we view and distribute MSDS's over the Internet?
A: Yes, EMS makes MSDS's available in text or image format over your corporate Intranet or on our hosted web-site.

Q: Is EMS compatible with my current MSDS, Inventory, PO system?
A: Yes, EMS is compatible. Because of EMS's Open Database Connectivity architecture, your data can be fully integrated/converted, and interfaces for real-time or batch data exchange can be programmed.

Q: Do barcode scanners work with EMS for tracking inventory and waste?
A: Yes, barcode scanners can be used to establish initial inventory and waste levels and to track items as they enter and move through the facility.

Q: How do I get my current inventory and MSDS's into EMS?
A: Your current electronic data can be converted to EMS. If you need to build a brand-new inventory database, there are a number of ways we have helped customers do this. We will help you evaluate and choose the most accurate and cost-effective method to meet your needs. Some solutions include: manual survey of inventory using our EMS-compatible Inventory Collection System, collection of data on another compatible spreadsheet or database application, and outsourcing inventory collection to a qualified third-party provider.

Q: How much does EMS cost?
A: Software license pricing depends on the following:
bulletwhich EMS modules are needed
bulletnumber of sites implementing the system
bulletthe number of users at a site needing add/update/delete rights for the data
bulletnumber of users who need to view/print MSDS's, inventory or waste information and whether they do this on a network or over the Internet

Additionally, there may be costs for systems analysis, custom programming, data conversion, installation and implementation, additional features, training and/or annual support. Licenses do not expire and updates are provided as long as annual support fees are up to date.

Monthly subscription pricing for our hosted application depends on the following:
bulletwhich EMS modules are needed
bulletnumber of MSDS's, inventory items, waste items and/or employees in the database
